Trip Summary
Nepal is best described as a river-runner’s paradise.  With an impressive choice of rivers set in a beautiful mountain environment, without anything too scary but with plenty of long multi-day potential.

Nepal’s exotic culture and incredible geographical and climatic diversity creates an amazing environment both on and off the water. All these things combine to make Nepal one of the world’s premier kayaking destinations.

The kayaking itself is mostly a great mix of read-and-run grade 3-4 alpine style continuous white water with the odd grade 5 rapid or portage which can be easily inspected and walked around if necessary.

The Love it Live it Nepal Rivers Expedition takes you on a tour through the best white water the country has to offer, maximising ‘river time’ and experiencing a progressive range of rivers without excessive travel and hiking in-between.

The LiLi guides will introduce you to the magnificent rivers of the Himalayas at a progressive pace to refine skills and build a strong group dynamic before challenging those skills on harder rivers.  Our itinerary takes us to the Trisuli, Kali Gandaki, Upper Seti, Madi Khola, Marsyandi, Balephi and finally the mighty Bhote Kosi, all in a 15 day package with optional extra activities such as paragliding, micro lights, mountain biking, Everest flights, cultural sight-seeing or one of Nepal’s less strenuous activities such as tea drinking, reading or going out for massages and yoga!

Key Facts
The trip is a 14 day package, trips can be scheduled for

October - December 2018

The package dates are flexible. We will alter the length and start dates to suit your needs wherever possible, and do our best to arrange a completely new date if that's what you require. Drop us an email if the date you want is not there...

Who is the trip suitable for?

Anyone comfortable on grade 3-4 white water or 3+ alpine water with a good roll will enjoy this trip.

A reasonable level of fitness is required to complete this expedition with maximum enjoyment as 12 days will be spent on the river.  However the trip has been designed with rest days and half days at certain points in order to give your bodies time to recover from the stresses and strains of paddling these rivers.

The LiLi guides will tailor the trip to suit the group and it will be possible to substitute easier or harder rivers with those on the itinerary as necessary to provide maximum enjoyment and progression for the group.

If you have any questions at all about whether your ability suits this trip then please feel free to contact us...
