DESCRIPTION:At this time of year\, the heart of Norway’s whitewater scene isn’t in Voss. During high summer\, the epicenter shifts inland to the mighty Sjoa Valley. The Sjoa River boasts a variety of sections\, including the iconic Amot Gorge\, the long and remote Asengjuvet Canyon\, and Europe’s finest playrun. As incredible as the Sjoa is\, paddling it alone would only scratch the surface of this paddler’s paradise. Within a 50 km radius\, you’ll find an astonishing number of world-class rivers. \nWe’re talking about legendary runs like the Store Ulla Slides\, with its famous waterfall combo\, and the challenging Finna Gorge. You’ll also experience the two contrasting but equally thrilling sections of the Jori. And of course\, there’s the ultimate duo: the Rauma and the Ulvaa! \nSadly\, even if we paddled 24 hours a day\, we wouldn’t have enough time to run all the sections this area has to offer. But fear not! We will\, according to the water levels\, handpicked the very best\, ensuring every river you paddle will become one of your all-time favourites. \nThis isn’t your typical trip; this is a trip you’ll remember for a lifetime.
