Our sessions aim to take your freestyle to the next level. Whatever your ability, the LiLi team have extensive experience in helping people improve. We can help you learn new moves, perfect technique and shed light on those moves that you don't quite have your head around.

The Online Kayak Coaching program is for people who would not only like a coach for regular feedback, but would also like to gain a deeper understanding of the fundamental principles of how to progress most effectively and ultimately of how to self-coach, allowing you to not only progress in the short term but helping you to avoid the plateaus and to get consistent progress in the long term – after all, this is the real key to reaching those stretch goals.

On this program

  • Coach access on a regular basis, with the ability to ask questions, discuss progress and sticking points, share video clips and get feedback
  • Receive guidance on off-water training
  • Personalised coaching – get individual coaching from some of the best on the elements of freestyle that you want to work on
  • Expert technique advice – we can break down any freestyle move or combo and provide you with key points and valuable understanding to help get that move nailed
  • Mental preparation – some days you paddle well, and some days you don’t. We will discuss ways to put yourself in the right mindset, feeling positive to make sure your big competition day is a day when you’re on fire, not washed out.
  • Training for an important competition – if you are working towards a certain event, we can run the whole week with that competition in mind, help you put together a run and identify key areas for you to work on.
  • Long term development – we aim not just to help you out during that week, but also to provide you with all the understanding and knowledge to continue your development towards European Championships and beyond
  • Session video feedback – we will use progressive, positive coaching and resources including extensive online video analysis
  • Competition preparation – we can help you prioritise your training to identify key areas for focus and help you put together a training plan that provides higher performance

Individualised Coaching

All LiLi coaches are highly experienced, skilled and passionate about their own training. They live for the enjoyment of kayaking and the challenge and reward of coaching. This makes coaching with LiLi fun and inspiring and it drives the coaches to make every session rewarding and enjoyable.

Bartosz Czauderna – Competing for over 10 years and recently came second in the 2018 European Championships. Bartosz has been coaching juniors for five years and led them to the top of their category. He has paddled and coached on over a hundred rivers across many countries and has extensive experience in running safe and rewarding sessions, and in providing a professional, relaxed and fun environment off the water. With his combination of a welcoming smile, positive energy and analytical thinking he will help you to achieve your goals and bring your kayaking to a new level.

Nick Beavis – Nick started kayaking almost 10 years ago and has been striving to understand how to become a better kayaker ever since. Cutting his teeth on the whitewater course in Nottingham, his time on the water has varied from the big waves of Quebec, to the steep creeks of Norway, to multi-day expeditions in Nepal. In addition to his own paddling, Nick has been coaching at his local clubs and providing informal performance coaching for a number of years now. Combining his love for kayaking, a keen analytical approach and his enjoyment of seeing others progress, ensures you’re guaranteed a progressive and fun time with him on the water.

How does the Online Kayak Coaching works?

We meet online depending on your program, prepare plans for sessions for you, analyse the videos that you record from your sessions, address your general fitness level in daily work outs, stretching and nutrition.

What is it for?

If you want to take kayaking to your next level, looking for inspirations on what to do on your sessions but can not always afford or travel to places where you can paddle with a coach

How long is online session?

Session aimed to take around 1 hour of online conversation or voice messages depending what works best. During this time we will make video analysis prior/past your training. Sometimes it can take longer and sometimes it might be shorter, we will make sure that you get everything you need to use it in your next sessions.

How are we going to communicate?

Depends on your preference it might be messenger, whatsapp, skype or any other means that we will find working for you. Sometimes it will be a set of voice messages with comments on the videos, sometimes whole video chat and sometimes some materials prepared for you.

Is it freestyle only?

No! It can be any kind of kayaking. For some creeks, whitewater courses or even flatwater paddling development, anything that overall preparation is necessary – we will be there to advise, help and challenge you.

Is this for me?

Do you want to progress in your kayaking? Are you looking for inspirations? You are stuck doing same things over and over but cannot get that move in? If for any of those questions you had answered yes then contact us and try it yourself!

I’m not sure if I’m going to like it can I have just one month for trying?

Training is long term dedication to development. We will do our best to keep you motivated and help you make most of your sessions. In one month it is just a few sessions at maximum that we will be talking about and that is little time to implement all the ideas, plans and habits however we believe that you will see the difference straight away

What if I want to change the program?

That is super easy – let us know what you are looking for and we will advice and help you on what will fit you best. It is very easy to change the plan to higher or lower level.

I’d rather pay monthly than get an annual subscription.

No problem, there are different plans that hopefully will fit your needs the best. Getting a year subscription however has multiple benefits – first off, starting by it being a motivation factor. Imagine somebody is there for you waiting to hear back to talk about what you had done during your session, how recent things have worked and what could be done differently. Additionally as we run plenty of freestyle weekends and performance coaching sessions – you will have priority to enter them using your special discounts and more on, you can even go with us to Uganda to get more intensive kayaking training in one of the best destinations, oh and being on the program grants you a discount for that trip too!

What If I don’t end up going kayaking that often or get injured?

Program is not only for kayaking as an activity. It is about general development. We could compare it to going to the gym and having your own personal coach, however here we focus on kayaking. We will do all kind of exercises to help you in your kayaking development but it will be as broad as addressing work outs, stretching, nutrition and mental preparation. If you get injured having somebody that will help you to get through is something even more necessary – we all learned unfortunately the hard way but thanks to that we have experience how to address the injuries, find your way and motivation back into the sport and get back on the water soonest that your body will let you!
