Arrival to Greece

The journey to Greece can be made either by car directly or ferry or an airplane.

When arriving by car, we recommend the route via Zagreb, Belgrade, Macedonia (don’t forget your green insurance card!), Saloniki, Parga, Camping Parga (N 39 ° 17’3 “E 20 ° 24’40”) if you take a ferry from Venice or Ancona you come directly to Igoumenitsa, from there you can get in half an hour at our meeting point at the Parga campsite (N 39 ° 17’3 “E 20 ° 24’40”) – link to ferries: http: // www.minoan.gr; http://www.superfast.com/site/content.asp?sel=291&loc=3; http://www.anek-lines.info/

If you are arriving by plane, we recommend renting a car from the airport. We can pick you up from Thessaloniki and you can join the ride with us – please enquire for further details.
You can rent full equipment from us at 25 euro/per day.

Camping and logistics

At our kayak camps, we look forward to a cozy get-together in the camp. We are happy to have breakfast together and for dinner everyone decides whether to cook or eat in local restaurants!
Basically, we are always on a campsite during the entire week, if someone would prefer to have a room, this is possible, but cannot be organized by us.
Basically, the kayak school bus with a trailer is responsible for mobility and shuttles on site and to the rivers. It may be necessary for private vehicles to also be used for shuttles and transfers.
We and the environment are generally happy when car pools are formed. When booking, we are happy to help establish contact between the participants. For logistics, we plan to go as far as Patras but all will be based of current water levels.

Day 1 Saturday Arrival to Parga
