Whitewater Kayaking Holidays

Day 1 Arrival to Athens Airport

Upon arrival you will be picked up and driven to our accommodation where you will meet the rest of your travel companions for the next ten days of adventure.

Accommodation: Athens

Days 2-7

Our plan is to paddle at the Peloponnese in southern Greece paddling rivers like the Lusios, Alfios and Erymanthos and finishing with a rest day at the beautiful beach near Patras. On our way through the peninsula we plan to visit Corinth canal, Mykonos and Olympia. After the rest day we will run Sellnous Potamos and then we will travel to central Greece to paddle at Karpenisiotis, Krikello and finally Mornos. For the duration of the trip except for arrival, departure and day prior ti rest day we will be wild camping.

Greece however can be very welcoming with water levels or the season for water can be very short. Plans can change to northern Greece if we are forced to follow the water – however our back up plan involves seeing Acheront, Meteora, Cyril & Methody Cathedral and more!

Day 8

To finish up the trip we run Mornos river and afterwards we start heading back to Athens stopping by Delphi to hear the story of the ancient oracle. We arrive at the same place we stayed at the first night and enjoy our last evening in Greece.
