The green valleys, endless vineyards and ancient churches scattered throughout Georgia will quickly make you realise why Georgia is considered one of the most beautiful countries in the world. While we’re here to sample the wine and soak up the beauty, we’re also here to experience the famous white water. Guests are considered blessings in Georgia and we’ll experience this friendly hospitality throughout our ten day adventure as we paddle our way to the Black Sea and beyond.

  • Experience paddling on Caucasian rivers rarely visited by other kayakers – including the Tskhenistskhali , Rioni, Tekhuri , Mulkhra, Enguri , Nenskra, Zubi Tskhenistskhali  (depending on water levels)
  • Experience the beautiful culture of Georgia
  • Enjoy a rest day at the Black Sea
  • Gain advanced creeking knowledge especially focussed on safety and objective dangers and how to avoid them on the rivers
  • Expert low ratio coaching, tailored to suit you and your kayaking

Day 1 Arrival to Tbilisi Airport

Upon arrival you will be picked up and driven to our accommodation where you will meet the rest of your travel companions for the next ten days of adventure.

Accommodation: Tbilisi

Day 2 Middle Tskhenistskhali III (III+) 12km

We depart very early from Tbilisi in order to reach Lentekhi Valley for a warm up run on Tskhenistskhali middle section where 12km of big volume river is awaiting us. Just after running the river we move to Oni to experience our first real taste of Georgian culture and cuisine.

Day 3 Rioni III-IV (IV+) 9km

Rioni is one of the pearls of Racha and one of the most famous Georgian rivers. It is also one of our favourites in terms of quality of the whitewater. It is a continuous never ending fun class III river with some more demanding rapids along the way as well.

Accommodation: Tsageri

Day 4 Tekhuri III-IV (IV+) 10km

We step up our game a little bit today on a shorter section with continuous drops along the river. In the afternoon we drive towards the Black Sea for a rest day.

Accommodation: Ureki

Day 5 Black Sea

Enjoy a well deserved rest day on the beautiful beaches of the Black Sea. In the afternoon we drive to Svanetii region – one of the most famous regions with a long valley with beautiful views.

Accommodation: Mestia

Day 6 Mulkhra IIII-IV 11.5km

Run two sections of the Enguri tributary – enjoy amazing views all around and of the third canyon. Beautiful remote gorges with amazing views inside the canyons.

Accommodation: Chuberi

Day 7 Lower Enguri III (III+) ~9.5km

Little bit more mellow section for playing with various features of the river .

Accommodation: Mestia

Day 8 Nenskra III-IV ~15km

Final day on a beautiful river with continuous whitewater and a couple of spicy sections!

Accommodation: Tsageri

Day 9 Zubi Tskhenistskhali IV (V)

To finish up the trip we run the beautiful Zubi section with a continuous boulder garden over two main sections split by a flat stretch to rest and gain power for each. After running the river we drive back to Tbilisi.

Day 10 Departure day

Day of departing from Tbilisi Airport.

    Is this the right trip for me?

    The trip is suitable for people that have experience on the rivers and feel comfortable at class III+, have a solid whitewater roll and want to step up their game take a challenge on new rivers of difficulty III+/IV. The course will help you step up your game under the eye of professional kayakers with a high level of coaching and guidance.

    Do you cater for youth paddlers too?

    The camp is suitable for both youth and adult paddlers. During the camp if our coaches are going to look after young paddlers, participants and their legal supervisors must agree to rules of camp.
