Surfing at Skook

If you have your own transport – we will meet you in Egmont. Ideally we will try to go to local restaurant to skip preparing the meal on the first night.

If you arrive by plane – welcome to Canada! Please book a flight that arrives BEFORE 11:59 AM. We plan to collect everybody and make a transfer to Egmont on the same day. Pick up is planned for 12:15 from the airpot but will be adjusted to group flight arrivals. You will be collected from Vancouver Airport and when we have everybody we will hit the road! If you arrive earlier please let us know so we can make the right arrangements. If you can not arrive before 12am, you may need to arrive day earlier, please get in touch and we will see what are the options.

Accommodation our base for the whole trip will be Egmont Strongwater Camping. Please remember you will need camping equipment

Mornings will be spent chilling out, video review, analysing the techniques and in the afternoon we walk down to the wave and surf until dark. Classic easy freestyle life focused on fun and progress surfing dream wave.

We will travel back from Egmont to Vancouver early morning after early breakfast. You can fly out on Saturday in the evening – please look for flights AFTER 8 PM. If you need an extra day and help finding accommodation please let us know and we can assist you.

These dates are flexible. We will alter the length and start dates to suit your needs wherever possible, and do our best to arrange a completely new date if that’s what you require. Drop us an email if the date you want is not there.

Intermediate / advanced playboating skills would be high recommendation for that trip. The wave is great but you want to have your surfing basics already so you can enjoy moving around and starting to learn the moves. Solid roll is important. If you have any doubt at all whether your ability suits this trip, drop us an email and we would be happy to advise.
